Makes me feel like Ms. Frizzle :)
I absolutely LOVE this Dress!!! I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The fit is very flattering. Although I did wind up exchanging mine for a smaller size. I ordered an XL (I'm 5'1" and pretty chunky :)) It fit nicely through the shoulders and top- (I did wear a tank top under) but it was really long on me. So I'm hoping that the L size will fit better as it is 7 inches shorter. I will definitely buy from them again. Their return process was no hassle and super easy!
Comfortable, flattering, and delightfully nerdy!
Soft material, flattering cut and length, perfect for my science teaching job, and a great conversation starter!
I have to say, I love how this dress looks! I was surprised at the length (mid-calf) because I'm 5'8", so things are usually much shorter than I like. The cut is very flattering. I wear a white cami underneath and that actually adds a nice contrast at the V in the neckline. And pockets? Score! I do try to smooth them down after taking my hands out because I don't need any extra emphasis on the hips. For me, the one drawback is probably something others will like about the dress. Since it's 100% cotton, it's not at all soft or stretchy. It's heavy and stiff. Maybe it will soften after a few washes? I would have preferred a cotton/lycra blend to get the nice stretchy, soft, and drape that we get with most modern knit dresses. This fabric almost feels frumpy. But hey--it's all natural--and I know that's important to some. I think I'll like it more with time.
