My daughter (nearly 5) has been REALLY into math lately, and I thought she would get a kick out of this dress. (I also got the matching skirt, as we like to match for some occasions.) She is SO EXCITED to wear her math dress all the time. I got the size 6 to allow for two years of wear. It's slightly big now, but totally wearable, and I think we can get another wear out of it next year. Pockets are TOTALLY KEY, because there has to be someplace to put the rocks and woodchips and everything that is precious to a 4-year-old. Several people have thought that the print was "protons and neutrons", and as a chemistry family, we are totally okay with that interpretation, too! To augment the mathy-ness of this dress, try playing the Alexa Skill "The Queen's Mathematician" if you have an Echo/Alexa device. Totally awesome math fun, and extra fun to do while wearing the dress. Photo is math dress being worn for a long trek on Amtrak.
This dress is so cute. The fabric is soft and comfortable. My daughter loves that her Svaha dresses have pockets just like Mommy's! She and I received lots of complements when wearing these dresses.

THE TREE THAT NEVER LEAVES!
Ginkgo bilboa (sometimes incorrectly spelled/pronounced “gingko”) is one of the oldest, hardiest plants still around - 270 million years and thriving - and some even survived the nuclear attack on Hiroshima in 1945! Our design depicts the ginkgo’s autumn leaves, falling forever down your own trunk. If you haven’t “botany” of our accessories yet, now’s the time to branch out!

These aren’t your average chalkboard scribbles!
This design pays homage to Katherine Johnson, the fabulous African-American mathematician who was largely responsible for sending the astronauts on the Apollo 11 safely into space. Hollywood thought the female mastermind’s story was pretty cool too so they turned it into the 2017 Blockbuster hit, Hidden Figures. Johnson, who was portrayed by Taraji P. Henson in the film, scribbled her fancy scientific calculations on a blackboard. This design contains the secrets of gravity losses, simulates rocket propulsion, and is right up the alley of any stargazer!
