Our salute to the incredible International Space Station - constructed in 1988, it’s been a laboratory for the study of astrobiology, astronomy, medicine, life science, materials science, meteorology and more by 200+ astronauts in groups of up to six. Travelling at over 17,000 MPH, its occupants enjoy 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours - and as the second brightest object in the sky, it can even be seen from the Earth at night!

Love this dress. I enjoy wearing svaha clothes to work (i'm an engineer) and conferences. This dress is a little less "flashy" over all than some of the other options with a nice flair of the ISS at the bottom, so stylistically it's perfect. I did notice that I typically where a 2x in Svaha dresses, and the 2x I have in this dress is just a little tighter than the other dresses I own. I'm not sure if the fabric is a smidge less stretchy or if the dress is slightly smaller. It still fits fairly well and I feel comfortable wearing it to work.
I just got it and tried it on. When I looked in the mirror, I realized the space station was almost at the bottom of the dress. There is less than 2” of space between the bottom of the station and the hem, so it’s at my knee. It looks awkward. It’s also tilted at an odd angle. I much prefer the height and orientation in the pictures on the site. The basic dress is okay, not real soft, but it hasn’t been washed, so presumably it will be softer. There’s no extra room, so I want to know for sure it won’t shrink before I wash it. Does it shrink? Anyway. I’ll try it again tomorrow to see if I still feel the station placement is awkward. If so, I’ll probably return it.
Great fit and looks amazing. I love this dress!
I recently wore my dress when presenting at the Metro Detroit Science Teachers Association conference. Many teachers thought it was awesome, and so do I. It is so comfortable and has pockets. My students love it when I wear my themed dresses to school. I wore this one when introducing STEAM to my class. I am sure you will be getting some new orders from Detroit!
I love this dress! The fit is great, even after laundering. Super comfy! The pockets are deep enough to securely hold my phone and access ID without screwing up the lines of the dress. The fabric weight is perfect and feels good on. The detailing is still supple and didn’t crack after multiple trips through the dryer. And the pattern is fun and garners compliments everywhere I go. I definitely recommend this dress!
