Did you know you could change the color of some flowers' petals? This is achieved through a process called Transpiration where water is evaporated from a flower’s leaves and petals, thereby needing more water to deliver nutrients through its stems and petals. By adding plant-safe dye such as food coloring to the water, white petals can take on the color of said dyes, changing their whole look! Try it with some herbaceous flowers like daffodils or tulips and you could see the results in mere hours.
