I have this and love it! It is well made, exactly as described and runs true to size. Apparently some reviewers didn’t read the description thoroughly or simply don’t understand product descriptions.... Yes, the fabric is “thin” but the online description is detailed and explains the fabric. “Burn-out” is basically going to be “see through” and possibly even a bit “worn looking” depending on how you look at it. You shouldn’t be surprised by anything when ordering this sweater, it's described pretty clearly. So, my review? If you’re looking for something dressy and lightweight, with a MUSIC theme, and (small) pockets, this is a fun but nice-looking, dress-up or dress-down option!!
This is the second music cardigan I've purchased from Svaha (also have the white one), and I love them both! This is light enough to wear at any time of the year, and looks good with nearly any color top. (I especially like this one with purple and the white one with teal). The pockets are nice, but not really for holding a lot. I can toss my phone in there to free up my hands, but wouldn't keep it in there all the time. The length of the sleeves is perfect, and the overall length is just right. The fabric is soft and comfortable. Would buy again - especially if there was a bass clef version!
Love! Great pockets.
My husband and I ordered this for our band director daughter. It was of such poor quality we are embarrassed to give it to her. It’s thinner than my T-shirt’s! Not at all what I would call a cardigan. It looks like it’s been through the washer one to many times! I will never order from this company again.
I'm a musician and a scientist rolled into one! I bought this music note cardigan and I love the musical symbols on it. The fabric is a light t-shirt material and I am surprised that it was not heavier. The symbols on this are white and the background color is black. The first time I had it on was yesterday. I wore a long-sleeved, hot pink t-shirt underneath it and my husband said, "Wow, you've got pink musical notes on that jacket! How did you manage that? So I guess you could say that the garment is a bit transparent. This gives you an illustration of how thin the fabric is. I guess when I think of cardigan I think of winter and not summer. This garment would probably be better suited for a summer day than a fall or winter one. Also, the pockets are not what I would call pockets. I think of pockets as places where you can safely put things like loose change or my scientific calculator. Yes, I can put my hands in them briefly, but they are not large or sturdy enough to actually put anything in them. My calculator would be gone quicker than a 16th note! The good news is that this is thin enough that I can wear my long-sleeved t-shirt under the cardigan (with the bright color of my t-shirt showing through!) and my lab coat over top of it. In my lab, the temperature is quite variable, so it is essential to dress in layers. I'm a bit disappointed in it, but I will still get some wear out of it. I often make lemonade out of lemons. I wouldn't quite call this item a lemon, but it wasn't 100% what I was expecting. I expected a more substantial fabric and something that was not transparent. The pockets in the photo look like substantial pockets like you would find in a lab coat, however they are not that way. Even loose change would fall out easily. Other items that I have purchased from this company were thicker and with better quality fabric and design than this garment.
Everyone will be jelly of your glow-in-the-dark threads!
This science-inspired design was created to celebrate our favorite gelatinous zooplankton! Jellyfish have been around for over 500 million years. Besides floating lazily in the ocean current and occasionally giving beachgoers a startling sting, jellies are super energy-efficient hunters. A swarm of jellyfish even once took out a nuclear reactor - pretty impressive for a spineless creature! This glow-in-the-dark design shows off the beauty of the bioluminescent glow of these blobby predators.

SINE OF THE TIMES!
Over 2000 years ago, mathematicians recognized a fascinating property of triangles: if the length of at least one side and degree of one angle was known, the other four could be precisely calculated. This is Trigonometry, and the modern world couldn’t exist without the fields of science that rely on it: astronomy, geography, architecture and economics, just to name a few. Add this design to your own curves before our ratio reaches 0:0!
