Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest-growing water sports in the world- using canoe-like vessels carved with a dragon's head and tail. It has become a powerful movement for breast cancer survivors internationally. Women are told to avoid vigorous activity so that there are no complications of lymphedema. It is believed that the upper body exercise that is received from dragon boating decreases this risk. It helps with empowerment, exercise, and building a connection!
