- I am pear shaped and am always concerned that the hip area will be too small if the shoulder seams are close to my shoulders. I am 5'1" tall and weight 160, my shoulders are aprox. 16", and my hips are 50" in circumference, measured over the pants I would wear. Many knit tops can be stretched a bit to make a more attractive fit, would this be the case here?
- This top is made from cotton knitted fabric, so it does have some natural stretch and will give a bit through the hip area for a more comfortable fit. In the size chart, the hem measurement is the hip measurement.
