"I love, love, love this dress. I was excited when I first saw it and couldn't wait to wear it when it arrived. It is my favorite! I'm 5'2", and it truly is a maxi dress. But I don't trip or step on it, even in flats. I'm broad-shouldered and busty, but the top of the dress also fits really well: no stretching in front and the sleeves are just right. It looks great on its own or paired with a cardigan. I have worn it on every trip for work since I purchased it. It is dressy enough and very comfortable."

The short sleeves will work well under a layering piece and the cotton will keep me cool:) I do have the all black Rachel dress and my issue is how heavy it is.
