This is my first Svaha
"This is my first Svaha dress after looking at them for many years. As an author who presents in elementary schools, I love this print, and so do the kids and teachers! I would say it fits me snugly up top and very loosely in the waist, so I wear it with a thin black belt. It's very comfortable to move in though. I'm a little concerned about shrinkage since it's 100% cotton, so I'll only wash on delicate and hang to dry. Thanks for a fun, functional dress!"

"I LOVE Svaha and have a large collection of dresses, most of which are book themed. I was so excited to get this. I ordered a 2x which typically is a bit loose, it was a little tight but cute. Then I washed it (warm) and it shrunk. Now it is very tiny and the fabric is not the heavy nice fabric we typically get. I would get another in this print but not this dress."
Cute print; confusing fit
"Super cute print in person! Finding the right fit, however, was a conundrum. Having been advised that the waist fits most like a twirl dress, I bought my usual twirl-dress size, but discovered that the seams of the tiered skirt were too constricting. I had to return the dress. Perhaps if I bought my usual A-line size (one size up from the twirl dress). the skirt would fit? But it seemed pretty narrow, so I'm doubtful; plus, then the waist would be too loose. I'm sure this adorable dress will be the right dress for many, but for this somewhat pear-shaped, 5'4" person, it turned out not to be a good fit."
