"I love that the smocked waist falls and drops perfectly at my waist. This style is extremely forgiving so Ladies, for those of you who may be between sizes - you can size down as I did on this one. All my twirl dresses are XL but this fits and falls perfectly on me. And perfect for winter with snowflakes and long sleeves."

However, I'm not quite 5 feet tall and ordered a small - the neckline isn't comfortable for me (makes me feel cold and my bra straps show if I'm not careful) so I'm going to need to adjust it. "Theoretically, a very cute dress but not for me. I'm 5'10" and about 240 pounds right now and didn't like how the smocking at the waist emphasized my belly. Also, I have longish arms so the sleeves hit me more below the elbow than above the wrist. But the cloth was nice and the pattern very cute. Just the style not my personal preference. If it comes out in the twirl or fit and flare I'll try again."
"I love the fabric of the snowflake dress so I really wanted it for Christmas. I wear a larger size and expected the smocking to be just under the bust but it’s actually lower waist area. My husband said it looks great and flattering, though, so I’m happy about that."
"Unfortunately, the style of this dress doesn't work on my body shape which is top heavy although I thought it would. In my usual Svaha size, the smocking sits oddly around my waist, neither flattering nor providing shape to the dress. I can't size down due to the chest size. I love the book snowflakes so much that I kept this. The pattern hides the odd smocking overall so I can fake it. I wish this fabric pattern was available in a different style dress. About me: I am a Svaha megafan and own many Svaha dresses. The twirl and maxi designs work best with my top heavy body shape. I love the fun, quirky, pretty, and nerdy fabric patterns. I have fibromyalgia with severe heat sensitivity, so I look for clothing that is comfortable and helps me to regulate my body temperature better. The cotton content of these dresses is a blessing to me. I also love the pockets and show them off regularly when I receive compliments. My favorite response is to explain that the pocket on my right can hold a puppy and the pocket on the left can hold a kitten. For daily living, I appreciate that my phone and other items stay safely tucked inside. I collect and wear hats, too. The colorful designs make it easy to find a hat to wear with each dress. I do size up one size from my average clothing size since I am larger chested to get the best fit. I machine wash the dresses and line dry with no problems."
