This is such a clever

"This is such a clever dress. The embroidered Braille alphabet is brilliant. Though it's too warm for me to wear until winter, I have already laundered it, tried it on, and have it hanging in my closet for the return of cool weather days. I purchased this in a size 5x which I would say is a size 28/30."

My First Svaha Dress wont be my Last

"I love this dress! As a child of a blind parent, reading in braille was a household staple. When I saw this dress, I had to have it. Now my mother wants one too. She is 90! I just might indulge for Xmas. The embroidery and design on the braille tiles is simply beautiful, and tactile, the dress silouette is pretty and the thick cotton wears well. The only suggestion I could mention is the bell sleeve could be a tad smaller. Length, sizing and neckline and all great and as expected. I am hooked. I can't wait to explore more Svaha."

The sleeves are a lot

"The sleeves are a lot longer than it says. After hemming by about 2" (which is not easy on belled sleeves) I can now see the tips of my 3 middle fingers when my arms are hanging down. While holding my arms up to look at my phone, the hemmed sleeves expose all my fingers down to the 3rd knuckles."

All of my favorite dresses

"All of my favorite dresses are from Svaha. But this braille dress is my favorite favorite dress. Being short (5 foot 3), I was nervous that the sleeves might be too long. But the bell sleeves are not too long at all. They are perfect. Then, I was nervous that the neck design would mean I’d have to continually adjust it, but no, I do not have to do that. I’m not sure how Svaha keeps designing dresses that fit great and are easy to wear. And with Pockets! As a blind person, who was brailling Christmas cards when I first wore this dress, I can assure you that a pocket slate and stylus fit great in the pockets along with a cellphone and stamps (with room for more). And if I am in a situation for which small talk is required this holiday season, I hope this dress encourages the topic of braille literacy, a subject near and dear to my heart. Thank you!"

Q&A

Do you have any dresses that are no waist, long sleeve, covered up to the neck and all the way to the floor? I’m Muslim and I can wear a few of these dresses if I wear them over another dress, but it would be great to only have to wear one.
We don't at the moment but we will definitely keep this in mind when adding new dress styles!
