"The praying mantis is rather adorable. It's also fun to have people do a double take when they realize there is more than flowers in my dress pattern. I'm glad I got this one. The twirl dress as always is comfortable and easy to wear. About me: I am a Svaha megafan and own many Svaha dresses. The twirl and maxi designs work best with my top heavy body shape. I love the fun, quirky, pretty, and nerdy fabric patterns. I have fibromyalgia with severe heat sensitivity, so I look for clothing that is comfortable and helps me to regulate my body temperature better. The cotton content of these dresses is a blessing to me. I also love the pockets and show them off regularly when I receive compliments. My favorite response is to explain that the pocket on my right can hold a puppy and the pocket on the left can hold a kitten. For daily living, I appreciate that my phone and other items stay safely tucked inside. I collect and wear hats, too. The colorful designs make it easy to find a hat to wear with each dress. I do size up one size from my average clothing size since I am larger chested to get the best fit. I machine wash the dresses and line dry with no problems."

"Love, love, love the fit and comfort of the dress. It looks great on. The deep pockets are wonderful - no more losing my phone or reading dress. Unfortunately after a few washes the colors are fading. I still wear it around the house and yard because it feels so good, but I can't wear it in public any more because it's starting to look shabby."
Cute but sleeves too tight for me
"I was so excited when this fabric was offered in a twirl dress style. I have pet mantids off and on and love them so much! But I was pretty bummed when I tried it on and the longer style of sleeves was too tight for me. Hoping for another offering of short sleeve twirl dress style in the future."
