Coming from a page of Rachel Ignotofsky's book, Women in Science, this dress illustrates the beautiful design of optometry. Patricia Bath, an important ophthalmologist, is the inventor of the Laserphaco probe used for cataract treatment, she co-founded the American Institute for the prevention of blindness, and wanted to bring awareness to sight-restoring surgery and eye care all around the world! What a spectacular sight to see and even more spectacular to read about!
