Beautifully cut dress and a fun print with pockets!

This is my 3rd Svaha dress but my first wrap style dress. I LOVE IT. Had lots of compliments too! Haven't washed it yet. Plan to get another one soon. It is a little deep cut at the neckline so I wear a black cami under it for work.

Cute but a couple caveats

I love the print- like someone else said it’s awesome for elementary kids bc so many of the other Svaha designs have more advanced ideas. The length and the tulip hem are nice. The neckline is super impractical. I feel like most people buying this dress are going to be working with kids and the neck opening is way too low cut. Even a safety pin wouldn’t fix it. I have to wear a yellow sweater over mine which looks nice but still- higher neckline would be even better!

Spreading the love of math

Work in a school helping students with math, the ability to have a conversation about math stemming from my dress just lights up the children's faces. This dress is a fan favorite at school. It is super comfy and the pockets are absolutely amazing fitting so much.

Dress and Skirt, I'm in love, but wish they didn't fade so...

I bought both of these in late April but didn't wear them until July, when school visits started up for me. I love-love-love the pockets. I also agree with the other reviewer, Anne, about the neckline. I actually clip the one side to my bra. If I lean over, the kids can all see down my dress. Unlike the other reviewer, I do not have a "smaller bust" and my dress did not shrink at all. Unfortunately, the black color faded after the first wash. I included a picture of the fading of the dress, which is less than the fading of the skirt, although I have worn the dress more. I also own the pi burnout cardigan sweater, which has held up for 2 years and I'm buying the new math symbol burnout cardigan today! Wish it came in red!

Nearly perfect...

Love the cute print and the cut. I was a little worried trying it on upon receiving it, as it was a little big. It actually shrunk significantly in the wash (I followed the instructions exactly) and now it's actually the right length/fit. I did sew a little knot at the neckline to keep it from opening it up on me (I have a smaller bust). Finally, there was some fading from laundering, which is a disappointment. The black is not as vibrant as it was. Again, I followed the laundering directions exactly. So that part is a disappointment, but the rest of it is great and I can't wait to wear it to Back to School Night. Now, I can be like Ms. Frizzle, haha!
