Here There Be Maps

"I love maps and globes so this dress was a must when I saw it. I also like the unusual color scheme. However, I am hoping for more map themed dresses in the future that look perhaps a little more traditionally map like. I will be one of the first to order! The twirl dress as always is comfortable and easy to wear. About me: I am a Svaha megafan and own many Svaha dresses. The twirl and maxi designs work best with my top heavy body shape. I love the fun, quirky, pretty, and nerdy fabric patterns. I have fibromyalgia with severe heat sensitivity, so I look for clothing that is comfortable and helps me to regulate my body temperature better. The cotton content of these dresses is a blessing to me. I also love the pockets and show them off regularly when I receive compliments. My favorite response is to explain that the pocket on my right can hold a puppy and the pocket on the left can hold a kitten. For daily living, I appreciate that my phone and other items stay safely tucked inside. I collect and wear hats, too. The colorful designs make it easy to find a hat to wear with each dress. I do size up one size from my average clothing size since I am larger chested to get the best fit. I machine wash the dresses and line dry with no problems."

"I like this one a lot. . . . It's fresh from the package and I think it looks REALY nice on. The quality and the designs are top notch. I was hoping for a little more definition in the land masses but that's probably my own fault for failing to look at the close up of the pattern online. It's still nice and it has great pockets."

This is my 2nd twirl

"This is my 2nd twirl dress, and 4th Svaha dress. I love them all. It is perfect for everyday wear and travel. I like to wear it with a jacket for dressier occasions. Bonus points for the two deep pockets!! I am 76 years old, 4'11", and this is a size XL. The pictures are taken in Sausalito, California. I usually wear a petite size XL, and therefore the dress is longer on me than it would be on women of average height. For the same reason, it appears to be a drop waist on me, but would otherwise hit the waistline on average height and taller women."
